Bhuj is a region in the West of India, famed for its colour and fine embroidery work, in particular the mirrorwork and Suf embroidery that is done by a few tribes native to the area. Traditional embroidery techniques include fine counted work, mirror-work and couching. This cotton stole incorporates all three and evokes the landscape of Bhuj in its colour scheme - a desert, punctuated by splashes of colour.
